Black Desert Online’s Latest Character Class Comes From The Parallel Earth
The gunslinger, Deadeye, brings some Wild West flair to the game.
Over the weekend, Pearl Abyss Celebrated Black Desert Online’s 10th Anniversary at the global Calpheon Ball event. During the event, the dev team shared several bits of new content players can look forward to in the future. Among these is the game’s 29th character class – a Western Gunslinger from the parallel Earth named Deadeye.
Deadeye made the trip to Black Desert via an experiment and not only adds fast-paced gunplay to the MMORPG, but expands on its lore. As one might expect, Deadeye comes armed with revolvers and a shotgun. She also carries a rocket launcher named "Lil’ Devil."
In addition to the new character class, Pearl Abyss also announced a selection of features and improvements. The first of these is enhanced support for new players via the Season Server. This server will provide players with a 100% XP boost, simplified gear upgrades, and more. Life skills and fishing have also been improved with a raised Life Skill Mastery Cap, new tools, the introduction of a fishing tournament, and automated sailor fishing.
For equestrian fans, a new Dream Horse, Voltarion, is being added to the game on January 16.
Of course, there will be some winter fun as well, with the Tumbling Snowflake Field event dropping in January.
Those interested can watch the full livestream from the event below. If you’d rather just see the Deadeye videos, we have those as well.
