Black Desert Online Hits 55 Million Player Milestone As It Celebrates Eight Years In Action In The West
That’s not the only thing they’re celebrating.
March is a month full of anniversaries for Black Desert Online. Not only is Pearl Abyss celebrating the MMORPG’s 8th anniversary on PC, but they’re also celebrating the 5th anniversary of Black Desert on consoles, and the 4th anniversary of cross-play support between Xbox and PlayStation. Both will be getting an update that will add the Scholar to the game.
In addition to the anniversaries, Pearl Abyss is also celebrating a 55 million registered online player milestone. The game has brought in $2.2B in revenue since the game launched in Korea. That's a lot of outfits!
Pearl Abyss is celebrating with in-game events – log-in rewards, community-based events, and the like. Of course, there are also the obligatory sales. The PC team is hosting an anniversary and “War of the Roses” livestream on Sunday, March 3 as well. As usual, there’s the obligatory infographic, which you can see below.
