Black Desert Online has seen quite an influx of players since the launch of the Land of the Morning Light expansion, and they have embraced the Korean folklore setting.
"As we ventured into the creation of the Land of the Morning Light, we were worried about how you, our adventurers, would receive this unfamiliar story," the letter states.
During the development process, the devs were a little nervous going into this BDO expansion, worried about how the setting would translate to a global audience. So far, it's been a hit.
And of course, you can't forget about the part where a small gift is promised during the next maintenance. We're not sure what this is going to be, but it's a small token of the company's appreciation towards its players.
