Black Desert Online Announces Streamlined Node Wars PvP For Groups Of 30, 50, or 75 Players
The update lowers the barrier of entry and changes the battle dynamic.
Black Desert Online’s PvP community will be able to experience the revamped version of Node Wars soon. This is a large-scale update intended to appeal to a wide variety of players, lowering the barrier of entry and allowing players of the MMORPG to focus on combat.
Guilds are invited to apply for Node Wars on May 26 – this Sunday. Battles will take place from 6 to 7 pm Pacific Sunday through Friday. The mode is available to guilds and alliances in groups of 30, 50, or 75 players. The updated Node Wars system will pick a random territory with the territory selected determining how many people are on the field.
To make things easier, Pearl Abyss has simplified things like installing strategic auxiliary buildings. These buildings can now be purchased from the Guild Military Supply Manager in town. Resurrection has also been streamlined so that when a player dies in battle, they can select the town they wish to resurrect in, meaning they can put themselves closer to where the action is taking place.
On an additional note, Pearl Abyss moved its primary North American servers from the West Coast to the Central US today. This was done because most players are located on the East Coast, and the move will improve stability and latency.
