Bigpoint announces Merc Elite, top-down Shooter MOBA
Call this "the week of MOBAs", Bigpoint has decided to add its next title called Merc Elite to the growing pile of new MOBA oriented games set to come out soon. So what exactly does Merc Elite bring to the battle arena? To start, the game is set in the near future and has players assuming control of an ex-military mercenary whose been hired by a group of evil conglomerates hell bent on controlling what few natural resources are left in the world.
Not too many details regarding the game's actual mechanics are known right now. The official website mentions players will be able to choose from five customizable classes such as the Heavy Gunner which sets up massive weapons from a distance in order to provide a barrage of cover fire and damage from afar, or the Tactician who tracks enemy movements and implements high-tech weaponry while calling in airstrikes on enemy locations. Merc Elite is said to feature directional cover mechanics and direct fire shooting, whatever that means.
Players can expect gameplay to revolve around the standard MOBA team size of five versus five, with Domination as the primary game mode where teams fight for control of the most flags.
Like all Bigpoint games, the Unity powered Merc Elite will be browser based. Players can sign up for the closed beta now on the game's official site here.

soldier front 2 , pay to win game
2years. i give this genre 2 years bevor it will go down and thats very gentle from my perspective. More and more people stop playing because it gets repetative and boring. why play another then and if thats not enough, its going to be browser based. Just one Question. WHY? isnt it worse enough already to make the 20th moba game? I can only imagine what they were thinking.
"döööö,lets do a moba game." "yes, but we need something new to add" "döööö,lets make it browser based"*dööö, thats worse. great! lets do it"
