How Do You Get Ready For The Elder Scrolls Online's Ascending Tide? Here's How!
Because you always want to start off on the right foot.
The Elder Scrolls Online's Ascending Tide update is scheduled to arrive soon, but before that happens Bethesda figures there are things some of y'all might need to do – to set off on the right foot and all. Well, it's either that or they’re trying to keep you hyped – maybe a mix of the two?
At any rate, the ESO team dropped a post on the game's site today titled "Five Ways to Prepare for The Elder Scrolls Online: Ascending Tide". For those who have been playing MMOs for a while, all of this is probably going to seem like a no-brainer. The list includes things like joining a guild, gearing up, reading over the PTS patch notes, and even just playing on the PTS.
An interesting addition is the first thing on the list which suggests players "meet the (dungeon) characters". It then goes on to explain where each of these characters can be found. They include Captains Kaleen and Za'ji as well as a "scoundrel" by the name of Jakarn. Note that in order to "meet" Za'ji, you’ll need to own the Dragonhold DLC.
