Bethesda Hosts Another Free Play Event For The Elder Scrolls Online
Just in case there’s someone out there whose never played before but might want to now.
At this point, we’re pretty sure that every MMORPG fan out there at least knows about The Elder Scrolls Online. Whether or not they’ve bothered to play it is a different story. Then there’s the question of whether or not the people who haven’t played it are interested in doing so at this point.
If, however, you are one of those people, Bethesda’s got the thing for you. The Free Play Event is back. Between now and April 9, folks can hop into the game for free and try things out. It doesn’t matter what platform you’re on either. (Although, we’re sure the Xbox is going to require that Game Pass sub.)
During the free event, players will have access to the base game and four classes: Sorcerer, Nightblade, Templar, and Dragonknight. They’ll also be able to explore over 20 zones and take part in PvP. For what’s basically a trial, it’s not bad. It will at least give new players an idea of what the game’s all about.
In addition, anyone who creates a new account during the event will be gifted 500 free Crowns to spend in the in-game store. If you happen to buy the MMO, that should give you a bit of a head start on things.
