Dead By Daylight Delays Future Releases As Behaviour Announces 2 Phase “Quality Of Life Initiative”
The initiative will roll out over the bulk of the year.
Behaviour Interactive announced plans to make improvements to its popular horror survival game Dead by Daylight over the course of 2025. Billed as a “Quality of Life Initiative”, the changes will make improvements to gameplay and anything that generally improves the game’s health. The initiative will be broken into two phases with the first running from April to June and the latter taking place throughout the rest of the year.
A general rundown of things being addressed with this initiative is fixing gamma settings, addressing hiding and body blocking prevention, map balancing, introducing a new quest system, and more. There will also be bug fixes for issues that have existed for a while.
That’s the good news. The not-so-good news is that in order to complete everything they have planned for this initiative, the developers have made the decision to delay future releases. This includes Chapters, Event Modifiers, and more. Hopefully, the changes – which are elaborated on in more detail on the Dead by Daylight forums – will be worth the delays.
