Become Humanity's Last Stand In RIPOUT, New Co-Op Sci-Fi Horror FPS That Just Officially Launched
Version 1.0 introduces new levels and a new objective, plus several balancing and QOL updates.
RIPOUT has officially launched out of early access on Steam.
The co-op sci-fi horror FPS game developed by 3D Realms and Pet Project Games is available for $19.99 with a 20% launch discount until June 4. Set in space, players team up with friends and a Pet Gun to combat mutants and search for Sanctuary — the last refuge of humanity. The game features abandoned spaceships overrun with genetically engineered bioweapons originally designed to repel alien invaders but turned against their creators.
RIPOUT Version 1.0 introduces new features like eight additional levels to explore, a new objective type called Kill Zone where players must eliminate a specific number of enemies in designated areas, and various balancing and quality-of-life updates. These updates include improvements to enemy health and damage scaling based on player count and progression within the game, as well as enhancements to controls such as sensitivity settings for keyboard and controller, toggleable aim-down-sights, and cloud saves.
The gameplay revolves around players navigating through tight corridors filled with mutants that can adapt by assimilating smaller creatures into their bodies. They must fight to uncover the truth about humanity's fate and whether Sanctuary can be reached before it's too late.
