Battlefield 2042 Announces Free Access Periods, Will Come To Game Pass Ultimate
Players will be able to experience the whole game for a limited time.
Battlefield 2042 will be getting a bunch of new content. Soon, the company will provide players with the full details on what to expect out of Season 3. We know there’ll be another new specialist, a new map, a new battle pass, and more. Season 3 will also see the game added to Game Pass Ultimate. Even more, Season 4 is already in the works so players have a lot to look forward to.
Because there’s so much coming in the near future, the developers have decided to host free access periods, allowing players to check out everything that’s going on for free. During these periods, players will have access to the Season 1 and 2 Specialists, more than 15 maps including 4 reworked maps from the game’s launch, over 100 weapons and gadgets, and more.
The free access is broken up into separate dates by platform. Xbox and Steam players will be able to take part beginning December 1. However, Xbox access will end on December 4 while Steam’s ends on December 5. PlayStation’s access period will take place between December 16 and December 23.
