BAMKiller: En Masse Entices TERA Players To Kill More BAMs
You have to hand it to En Masse Entertainment -- they do come up with some innovative videos for promoting TERA. Their latest video doesn't feature a musclebound MMA fighter but instead something much bigger.
En Masse is putting out the call to kick some "Big Ass Monster ass," launching a KickStarter-like initiative called "BAM Killer." Apparently, TERA's giant baddies are spawning faster than players can kill them and spilling over into the real world. It's up to the players to cull their population, earning sweet loot along the way.
In addition, and in true KickStarter fashion, the campaign has tiered goals that open up as a certain number of BAMs are slaughtered game-wide. Most importantly, certain loot stores (bronze, silver, and gold) will open up in the game that lets players spend the tokens they've acquired by killing BAMs. It's a little like long-term in-game accumulation events that have cropped up in other titles, but with a little added flair.
The BAMKiller campaign will go on for 21 days, culminating at 7 a.m. PST on Sept. 16. So get out there and kill some BAMs!
