ASKA Devs Promise World Generation Options Some Time This Month, With 4 Updates Planned For This Year
The news comes in a loose roadmap.
According to a roadmap posted on Steam by ASKA developer Sand Sailor Studio, players will finally be getting a feature they’ve been asking for, world-generation options. “Sometime this August”, players will have the opportunity to customize quite a few things in the game, including enemies, gather rates, and many other things that impact gameplay. This means players will be able to set their world at a difficulty level that’s right for them.
That’s not the only thing players of the action-adventure simulation game players have to look forward to. There will be four updates between now and the end of the year, each bringing players new content. Some of these include new buildings, system overhauls, new systems, and more. Details will, of course, be provided in the patch notes for each update.
The roadmap also discusses villager AI improvements. The brief rundown is that the devs are paying attention to player feedback and working on ways to make them more “understandable and consistent”. It will likely take a while to really nail it down, however, because these NPCs are doing a lot.
