Ashes Of Creation Would Like You To See Their Pretty Night Sky By Firing Off Some Magic
They also have some news about Mages for you.
A new dev video is out for Ashes of Creation and it seems that Intrepid is kind of excited for players to get a look a the work they’ve been doing on lighting and the night skybox. With the new changes, the skybox now rotates as the planet does, so the sky moves the way all skies should. The video highlights the game’s moons and nebulae and discusses how they will be affected by the day/night cycle. The end result is that it looks really nice.
Of course, the video isn’t just about the sky – although it is a big part of it. It also highlights the MMORPG's Mage and Wand updates. The devs offer a look at both in action. Since the combat is all being done during the game’s night cycle, players will get a good look at the effects associated.
You can watch the full preview below. Just set aside about 30 minutes for it.
Or, you can watch the live stream that the above was pulled from. Just set aside double the time.
