Ashes Of Creation Showcases Caravan PvP And New Art In Latest Video
I love me some PvP Caravans.
If you love PvP Caravans in MMORPG as much as I do, then this latest Ashes of Creation Development Update video is for you. Several developers and testers take part in this livestream VOD talking about the Caravan system in Ashes of Creation.
The devs say there is no reward without significant risks in Ashes of Creation. Not only do you have to worry about other players when transporting a Caravan, but the terrain may not be easy to move over.
The Caravan footage opens with an ambush on a transporting Caravan with some pretty epic PvP action. The Caravan is overrun and the attackers pillage the loot of commodities and resources. When you pillage commodities from a Caravan you gain special certificates that you can offload for some money. The attackers then summon their own Caravan in order to transport the remaining goods.
Overall the system looks fantastic. The Ashes of Creation team shows off both attacking and defending Caravans, as well as traversing the world. At one point they have to build a raft to take the Caravan across a river.
You can watch the video in its entirety below. Following the Caravan portion of the video, they go into some new artwork for the game. Check it out.
