Ashes of Creation Developers Show Off New Dungeon: The Tower of Carphin
This ruined university is "a dungeon with an open world,” according to Intrepid Studios.
Ashes of Creation is still not out yet, not even close, but Intrepid Studios just dropped another lengthy video revealing exclusive gameplay that takes place in a never-before-seen dungeon that the developers teased in the past.
“The wreckage of Carphin, towering over the Riverlands, plays an important part in the history of Verra.” These ruins are called the Tower of Carphin, a university ”that’s filled with ancient arcane treasures, unknown horrors, and powerful foes.” What’s interesting about this place though is that it’s “a dungeon with an open world,” according to Intrepid Studios.
Besides that, the team behind the upcoming sandbox MMORPG also showed off the Story Arc System. Quest givers are spawned that alter certain areas of the world, filling them with special monsters and resources. Players are able to not just complete these missions but influence how the story is told.
