Yes There Will Be Queues: As Path Of Exile 2 Heads Into Early Access, GGG Details What Players Need To Know
The company also celebrates 1 Million redeemed Early Access keys.
Today’s the day folks have been waiting for. Path of Exile 2 is entering Early Access on PC and consoles. To help things go smoothly, Grinding Gear Games shared a “What you need to know” post on Steam. It’s fairly basic, detailing the rollout times in each time zone and explaining the pre-loading process. It also reminds players about the Twitch Drops we wrote about the other day.
As this is early access and the action RPG will be welcoming the largest group of players today, it’s worth noting that GGG would appreciate feedback and has created a thread on their forums just for that. Keep in mind that it might take them a bit to respond. According to the post, the Support team has dealt with approximately 60,000 emails since the Supporter Packs were made available, with them still receiving about 50 emails every 20 minutes.
Those numbers shouldn’t be too much of a surprise as yesterday, Grinding Gear Games announced that they’d hit 1 million Early Access redemptions. It’s likely that more will roll in over the next few days.
Expect queues.
We’ve just reached 1 million Early Access redemptions. The support you have all shown for Path of Exile 2 Early Access is far beyond anything we could have ever predicted. However we want to be upfront with you all and let you know there may very well be queues over the weekend. pic.twitter.com/bwGpsVNdGU
