As The New Year Dawns In The First Descendant, There's A Slew Of New Daily Rewards Available For Two Weeks

As Nexon pushes The First Descendant into 2025, the looter-shooter is already hard at work addressing a number of issues in the new year. However, this month isn't just about fixing things, there's also bonus rewards available for just completing tasks you're likely already doing.

The New Year's event doesn't add new content, but until January 15th, you can earn bonus Kuiper Shards, gold, decryption keys, heavy ion collectors, quantum incubators, precision ion accelerators, and ion accelerators. How? Easy.

Each day, just complete missions, Intercept Battles, Void Vessels, and enhance reactors. You're likely already doing this anyway, so you may as well grab some additional rewards for doing so. The bonus rewards will actually be mailed to you after you complete each requirement. The bonus rewards can be collected each day until the 15th.

On top of the event, the team is pushing ever closer to the game's next patch update, but we'll have to wait for more details since the team delayed their planned AMA Dev Stream due to the tragic crash of Jeju Air flight 7C 2216. We should see some information and a new stream schedule within the next week.
