ToF Character Customization Trailer

Tower of Fantasy, the shared open-world MMORPG by Hotta Studio and Level Infinite, released a "Creative Gameplay Trailer" today that revealed plenty of player customization options in-game. That's not all, though. The devs also published another Dev Log on YouTube that dives into their habits, likes, and motivations for the game as its global release date nears.

Starting with the Creative Gameplay Trailer, it oozes that flashy and stylish Tower of Fantasy aesthetic similar to past trailers but puts the lens under character customization. Just like other anime-styled MMOs, styling up your character with a spiky hairstyle and slapping on a tattoo or two on their face is the general gist of the game's character creation screen.

According to the video, players will definitely stand out best with the trendy outfits in the game that seem to have various color variations and might give players free rein to change it up how they like. Following that, players can customize their mode of transportation. For example, they can use a futuristic bike straight out of a cyberpunk game or gallop through the wind on an automaton horse. The trailer finished with some carnival fun and other social encounters between players.

Dev Log #2 shared some insight into the developers behind Tower of Fantasy, focused on asking the devs questions about themselves and the game. These guys are as human as they come. One of the devs said they liked "Elden Ring," and another had quite a strong passion for arcades and assassin-focused games. As for Tower of Fantasy, in response to a question about "how they could make people like their game more," the devs responded by continuing to optimize and upgrade in-game models to get players invested. Despite what ruts the game might encounter, the devs strongly hope players can feel the "love and passion" that went into it.
