I never thought about how silly the sentence "There's new epic wheels" sounds until I watched the Wasteland Drift update details video the Crossout team dropped for the new patch. Anyway, yes, the vehicle-shooting game does indeed have new epic wheels, the Uwabaki.

That's nice, but the real content in the new update comes in the form of a "New Fuji" map, the new Punji secret weapon that creates kind of an electric gate you do NOT want to drive through, a new legendary Fukibari crossbow, and the new Oyabun legendary engine. The engine has some cool tricks to allow you to keep momentum when you run into things and have to throw it into reverse.

There's also new gear that increases damage while drifting for you speed demons out there. All of these rewards are part of the new season pass.

Hit up the New Fuji map and wrangle with the Syndicate. You can even turn on power centers on the new map to inflict pulse damage to combatants on the map.

Finally, until January 22, players have access to special alternating PvP and PvE modes in which they can earn “crackers” and then exchange them for rewards. In particular, players will find a new racing mode “No Brakes”, in which participants in pre-installed cars must drive three laps faster than their opponents, while escaping from police pursuit.

Check out the trailer and the full patch breakdown video below and the full patch notes for all the particulars on the new events added for the holidays.
