Armored Warfare Receives Largest Expansion In Three Years
“Shockwave” introduces a new mode of the same name.
Today, Wishlist Games announced the release of a new content update for its tactical tank MMO Armored Warfare. The update, titled “Shockwave,” adds a new mode of the same name. When playing this mode, players can team up with up to four other players in order to stop an attack on a production plant – a mostly straightforward objective, if you ignore that the mode doesn’t allow for respawns or retreat. During the first two days of this mode’s release, players will unlock a free Tier 10 tank.
In addition to the new mode, the update also includes several other changes and additions. A new third slot for level 6 crew skills had been added. T-72 series tanks and their Chinese counterparts now have new engine sounds. The Pipelines PvP map has been overhauled. Custom tank decals have been introduced. And, of course, there are the requisite bug fixes and other tweaks.
On an additional note, drones will be added to Armored Warfare in November. These will consist of Recon and Attack drones.
