ARK: Survival Ascended has been receiving updates and has been having some fun with mods/crossovers lately, including one that saw the Power Rangers come to the game. Obviously, though, none of that content was considered "canon" for the survival game. That will change in November of this year when the game's first canonical DLC drops. The team will make "Lost Colony" available for pre-order in June for $29.99.

Lost Colony features animated cinematics from Japanese studio MAPPA (Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen) and voice work from Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Tomorrow Never Dies). On the content front, Lost Colony bridges the gap from ARK Extinction to ARK Genesis and into the world of ARK 2 (which is still a thing coming at some point, I guess.) Players will gain access to new "Lost" ability trees, new exotic tames, an advanced new building system, and cursed gear. Powerful new factions are out to claw back all the progress you've made since ARK Extinction.

In addition to the new DLC, ARK is celebrating 10 years of content in the franchise with some new Club ARK additions and a nostalgia-filled trailer for GDC.
