Ark: Survival Ascended Is Getting Power Rangers, Because Why Wouldn't It?
Is the crossover you never knew you wanted.
Players of Ark: Survival Ascended are getting to experience an interesting crossover soon. Today, mod download site CurseForge announced a partnership with Hasbro to bring a Power Rangers mod to the survival game. The collaboration kicked off today, but it’s a little different than most video game collaborations, probably due to the fact that the collaboration is with the mod site rather than the game developer.
Rather than a short-term in-game event, this crossover is in the form of a mod on CurseForge. The group, which has over 50 billion mod downloads, worked together with UGC video game studio North World to create the mod.
The Ark x Power Rangers mod will join over 1,500 other Ark: Survival Ascended mods available on the CurseForge site. Considering the popularity of the Power Rangers, it’s very likely to become one of the most popular downloads, adding to the 190 million mods downloaded into the game so far.
