Ark: Survival Ascended Gets Xbox Release Date, But PlayStation Users Will Still Have To Wait A Bit Longer
Crossplay and new servers are included.
If you’re waiting for Ark: Survival Ascended to launch on consoles, we have good news and bad news. The good news is that the Xbox Series X|S will drop on November 14. When it does, it will be up to date with the PC version of the survival game and ready for crossplay on Day One – should you want it. If not, that’s fine, the launch also includes new servers, some of which are Xbox-only.
For PlayStation fans, the wait is going to be longer. Right now, Studio Wildcard is working on finalizing things with Sony. Still, according to the latest Community Crunch post, they’re shooting for an end-of-November launch. When it is released, the PlayStation version will have cross-platform with Steam and Xbox enabled on Day One.
At the time of the PlayStation launch, the developer will also launch another set of servers for specific game modes. That's PvP, PvE, and Small Tribes. These servers will have higher boosted rates to allow players to catch up so that they can hopefully synchronize everything by mid-December.
