Archeblade Announced, Next Generation Fighting Game
Free to Play fighting games have always held a small but prominent niche in the Free to Play market. Now CodeBrush Games looks to promote the next generation of fighting games with their new title ArcheBlade. Archeblade looks to be a third person fighting game where players control one of 10 characters each with a strong personality based on the fantasy novel by which the game's story revolves around.
Players are able to battle on multiple battlegrounds and different game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Capture the Pylon (my life for Pylon?), and Free for All. Additionally players will have access to 9 keyboard actions as well as the left and right mouse clicks. Much like the traditional fighting games such as Street Fighter, players will combine these keys to make their own moves and combos.
S.B Jin, CEO of CodeBrush Games had this to say regarding what the company aims for in terms of user experience and gameplay, "The average gameplay time is only 10 to 20 minutes. We are aiming for users who play a game for an hour per day. I wish our game would be a stress-less and a fun game for those users”.
The game is currently in closed beta with the first test date being held on August 30th. You can signup to participate in the closed beta test by registering on their site here http://beta.codebrush.net. The game is slated to launch on Steam in early 2013.
