ArcheAge Update Makes Some QoL Changes, Kicks Off End Of Year Boost Event
Celebrate the end of the year with double the XP, Quest Honor Points, and Vocation Badges.
Kakao Games is closing out the year with one last ArcheAge update. This isn’t a huge update by any means, but it does make some quality-of-life changes. It also kicks off an End of the Year (EoY) Boost event. During this event, players can earn double XP, Quest Honor Points, and Vocation Badges. The loot drop rate will also be doubled. A new event product, the 1-Day Vehicle Crate, has been added to the game’s store for the event. This will be available to grab for free (once per day per account) between now and the end of the event on January 5.
As for the patch itself, it’s pretty basic. The equipment point restriction for the “Golden Plains Battle” has been dropped from 8,000 to 6,000. Pets have received a few tweaks. Desummoning a Powerstone Pet will remove its buff at the same time. The skill cooldown for Powerstone Pets is now set at 90 seconds and a resting buff will be displayed on using Powerstone Pet Lizzie’s “Fortify” skill.
All restrictions on Gene/Melisara for the “Golden Plains Battle” and “Red Dragon’s Keep” have been removed for those on the Fresh Start Server. And, all “Haranya Alliance Scrolls” used as Exile support items have been removed from the game.
The rest of the patch notes consist of bug fixes. Those can be read about on the game’s site.
