Apex Legends Season 16 Releases Tomorrow, Welcoming Deathmatch And Class Perks
While there is no new legend this season, Team Deathmatch is sure to keep players occupied.
Respawn Entertainment has a Valentine’s gift and it’s Apex Legends Season 16: Revelry which will be released tomorrow, February 14, 10 AM PST. PlayStation users can already pre-load the shooter's new update, while Xbox, Switch, and PC users will sadly have to download the new patch upon the season's launch.
Respawn recently revealed what players could expect in this new season, one major item being that there will not be a new playable Legend this season–which is the first time this has happened since Apex Legends' conception. However, this season is bringing with it the debut of the game's Deathmatch Mode, which has had players excited for some time now.
Season 16 will also bring major changes to multiple Legends with the introduction of the Class Perks system. Every Legend will now have an associated gameplay perk that grants the Legends of that class access to new strategic options in the game. There will be five classes in total, Assault, Recon, Skirmisher, Controller, and Support. Players who have questions about this new Class Perk system can check out the developer's notes here.
Season 16: Revelry will also be introducing permanent limited-time mode rotations on top of the above-mentioned Team Deathmatch mode. Players that would like to learn more can check out Apex Legends' official site. Don't forget to check out the 4 year anniversary collection event, too!
