Apex Legends Amasses 10 Million Players, Including One Million Concurrent
Apex Legends' legend continues to grow, eclipsing the 10 million player mark just three days after its surprise launch, with a peak concurrency of a million. That's the word from Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella, who thanked players and shared the prodigious numbers in a brief post on the game's website earlier today.
While the dev team at Respawn certainly hoped it had a hit, "never in our wildest dreams could we have expected the outpouring of support and positivity we’ve seen," Zampella said. He promised that there would be "much more in store for you this year," some of which you can see in the game's roadmap. Judging by how Respawn's handled all aspects of the game so far, there's no reason to believe that those plans won't come to fruition.
