Another Chance To Grab You Black Partyhat Arrives With The Return Of RuneScape's Christmas Village
Many events and rewards return, but there's plenty of "new", too.
And the season begins in earnest!
We've had a few games celebrating Thanksgiving or their own "Autumn" fest over the last few weeks, but now it's time to kick off what will be almost daily posts for some MMORPG out there as they celebrate their Christmas or "Winter" holidays.
First up, it's RuneScape. There's events running all month starting today and, yes, the black partyhat returns if you haven't managed to score one in previous years. The penguin outfit is back, too.
On the "new" front, the event features a new Festive Christmas Quest, "A Christmas Reunion". You can also complete last year's version of this quest if you missed it. Everything really runs through the Christmas Village hub, and you'll want to keep checking in to make sure you're hanging out when Santa arrives to dole out presents. Toy Crafting and Hot Chocolate Making add to the list of holiday activities in addition to previous years' activities.
In addition to events and presents, each week from now until January 5th sees a new buff go out. Make sure to check the schedule if there's a particular buff that helps you make that item or level a skill.
Even the Advent Calendar makes its return, and the "giant" present will be available again starting on Christmas Day.
The full post breaks it all down for you.
