Another Card Game, Demi, Joins The Free-To-Play Ranks; After A KickStarter Of Course
Another card game is on the way, and the developer has announced that it will be free-to-play when it launches. Titled "Demi", the game still has a bit to go development-wise. In fact, the game's creator has announced plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign for it soon. Some of you more astute readers may have already stumbled across this announcement on the game's site -- since it was made last month -- but since we've just stumbled across it, we thought we'd share it with the rest of you.
Interestingly, Demi is not intended to be a regular CCG but will actually include the ability for players to trade cards with each other. The developer also hopes to lower the number of matches required for players to earn new card packs, with players receiving new cards about every 10 matches. This number will likely be detemined by how many matches are successfully won.
To monetize the game, the intention is to focus on cosmetics, like animated cards.
Those interested in finding out more about the game can check out the official site.
Thanks to MMOBomber Chaun for the heads up!
