New World PTR Will Be Up Tomorrow With Season Of The Guardian Content Awaiting Your Feedback
The PTR opens tomorrow.
Once again, the New World PTR will open to players, offering them a chance to provide feedback to the team before the Season of the Guardian launches. During this PTR period, players will be testing a variety of features including the MMORPG's Winter Rune Forge, Season 5 Artifacts, controller support, changes to the combat and animation system, and more. Players will also get a look at the main story quest content, so if you’d rather not have that spoiled for you, keep that in mind.
To ensure that players can provide proper feedback, they will be creating new characters that can be leveled instantly to select level ranges and given gear and items to help them get in and try things out. Using both internal testing and reports from players on the PTR, the team hopes to have all the serious issues ironed out before the update goes live. They do warn, however, that not everything will be addressed before launch.
The PTR will be available to players tomorrow. Patch notes for the PTR can be found on the New World site now.
