Amazon Offers Lost Ark Players Compensation For This Week’s Update Kerfluffle
Players are getting free goodies following a major issue with the game’s update on Wednesday.
Lost Ark players are getting an apology gift basket (of the digital kind) from Amazon and Smilegate. The items in question are compensation for about a day’s worth of downtime that resulted from an issue when the developer went to implement the game’s latest update – one that resulted in multiple delays before players were finally allowed back in.
The game was finally accessible yesterday, but that obviously wasn’t early enough for players to not request some form of compensation for the lost time. The requests began at 150 pheons for compensation and went up from there as the extended downtime carried on.
So...players aren’t getting 150 pheons. They’ll be getting 20, but it’s part of a greater package that includes the following.
- 1 – 5 Day Crystalline Aura
- 2 – 14 Day Aura of Resonance Recovery Elixers
- 3 Battle Items Chest
- 3 Additional Daily Una’s Tasks
- 20 Pheon
- 1 Growth Support Pack
- 5 Destruction Stone Selection Pouches
- 12 Guardian Stone Selection Poucnes
- 10 Honing Shard Selection Chests
Players who want their package do need to remember a couple of things. First, to even get the package, they’ll need to log in by 12 AM Pacific time on September 16. After that, it’s gone. Second, the Aura of Resonance Recovery Elixir has to be used within two weeks of being claimed.
