New World Halloween 2024

Halloween has arrived in Amazon Games’ New World: Aeternum and it is just two days away in Throne and Liberty (kicking off on October 24). Events in both MMORPGs will last into November, offering players plenty of time to take part and earn their rewards.

New World: Aeternum’s Nightveil Hollow event runs until November 5, during which time the demon Baalphazu and his Pumpkinites are spreading nightmares throughout the land. Throughout the run of the event, players will be able to transform into their favorite characters using costumes obtained from town centerpieces and the level 66 Baalphazu fight. Players will also search towns for hidden Treat Baskets which may contain Baalphazu armor pieces, Nightveil Tokens, and candy.

In addition, New World: Aeternum is hosting a screenshot contest to decide who has the spookiest home. Five winners will be chosen and rewarded with a ToA weapon skin code. For those looking for something a bit more guaranteed, a Halloween-themed Prime Gaming loot drop will reward Amazon Prime members with a new pet for their New World house, the Starlight Grimalkin.

On the Throne and Liberty front, an event-only dungeon will reward players with cosmetics, food buffs, and more. Trick-or-treating is available in any village in the game and players can craft special culinary creations. Also, candy corn lost during Conquest Battles has apparently mutated some fish. These fish can only be caught during the event and will offer players 15-minute buffs.
