Almost 1.5 Million Gold Dropped Per Second Last Week In Path Of Exile 2, And That's Not The Only Crazy Stat

Some of you Path of Exile 2 gamers may know the name "Lilylicious." They've been a long-time community member in the APRG's community, but now they have a new role as a data analyst within Grinding Gear Games. Sure, a lot of data analysis is boring, but sometimes you get to get into some really fun numbers. In a new post on the official PoE website that the team plans to make a recurring thing, Lilylicious has broken down some of the game's fun stats for us.

The stats only look back at the last week, from the 18th to the 25th. Why the small time range? Well, it turns out when your game is doing pretty well, there's quite a bit of data. Just this week's data took up approximately 1.5TB of log space. On that front, the team has already added some tools to compress that to about 115GB of data while keeping it available for analysis.

Breaking down what we have so far is kind of neat. The top 3 Ascendancy Classes played last week were the Invoker, Stormweaver, and Infernalist. Those first 2 were actually tied. If you're after money, just shy of 900 billion gold has dropped making that about 1.5 million gold per second.

If you're curious about deaths, yeah, there's been a lot of them. Players have died 14.5 million times.
