Aliens: Fireteam Elite Introduces New Game Mode — Terminal Containment — To Celebrate Alien Day
Every April 26th, we come together to honor LV-426, the moon where the aliens were first discovered.
Happy Alien Day!
The Terminal Containment Update is now available in Aliens: Fireteam Elite to celebrate this beloved holiday, which commemorates the original Alien movie every April 26th. This year, Cold Iron Studio has added a horde map, new cosmetics, and a unique gameplay mode to its third-person shooter.
Terminal Containment takes place in a single-floor interior with multiple points of entry to worry about. The center control room is a reliable spot to mount defenses, but as the horde waves pile on, players must coordinate with their squad to survive. By surviving at least 10 waves on higher difficulty levels, players can unlock various weapon cosmetics.
This addition is free for all players on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. (On that note, the game is now officially out on the Nintendo Switch via Cloud Streaming — including every patch, free update, new cosmetic, and the Pathogen DLC expansion.)
