Albion Online Invites Everyone To Join In Faction War Playtest Next Weekend

Sandbox Interactive wants able-bodied Albion Online players to help test its upcoming Faction Warfare rework next weekend. All players are invited to long into the staging server on Jan. 16 from 10:30 a.m. Pacific and choose a faction to fight for, Thetford or Fort Sterling. From there, you'll have selected outposts to fight over and, while the loot will be limited, at least you'll have free repairs.

There's no word on how long the playtest will last -- "we will let you know later on," said the post announcing the event -- and you can probably expect things to be in flux as the dev team works and re-works things on the fly. Players are encouraged to update their staging client in advance of the event.
