Albion Online’s Game Director Sits Down And Talks About What's To Come With With New Server, Albion East

Players may have already heard, but Albion Online is getting a new server in Asia. This new server will be located in Singapore and called Albion East while the existing world will now be known as Albion West. No matter a player’s location, they will have access to both servers and be able to use the same login credentials for each server. However, characters and gold will be separate for each server.

Albion East will provide a better connection speed for those in Asia, but also provides a fresh new experience to veteran players and new players alike as this is a rare opportunity to watch the player-driven world rise from the ground up in Albion East.

The closed beta for Albion East begins on February 20 and will last for three weeks. Those who purchase an Albion East Founder Pack will be able to join in and participate in multiple special events and earn unique rewards. In fact, the top 5 guilds in the closed beta season ranking will have the opportunity to design their very own logo in collaboration with Albion’s graphic team. This will then be available as a logo choice on both Albion East and West servers. Then, the top three guilds will be the first to leave their mark on this new land as a statue in their honor will be permanently placed in the open world.

Even if players have no interest in moving to Albion East, the rewards from the Founder Pack can be claimed on either server, while the skins are shared between servers. The Founder Skin items can be sold on the in-game marketplace if a player so chooses.
