Albion Online’s Final PvP Tournament To Take Place In September
The Crystal League Championship is coming to an end.
It’s the end of an era for PvP fans in Albion Online. Today, Sandbox Entertainment announced that they will be doing away with not just the Crystal League Championship, but the Lethal Crystal League altogether. This means the devs are doing away with Season Points, starting next season, and will instead be encouraging players to focus on other activities. For those who still want some PvP in their lives, Sandbox will be supporting custom matches with a new observer mode in the MMORPG.
Before all that happens, the final championship will be taking place on September 16 and 17. Albion East will take place on the first day, and Albion West on the second. The event will offer prizes for first through fourth place. The first-place winner will receive a Saber Tiger Rex Swiftclaw skin and 10,000 gold. Second place gets the Recruiter’s White Tiger Swiftclaw skin and 5,000 Gold. Third is the Recruiter’s Giant Frog mount and 5,000 Gold, and fourth gets the Occult Cougar Swiftclaw skin and 5,000 Gold.
Details on how to participate in this final tournament can be found on the game’s Steam page.
