A:IR Isn't Expected To Launch Until 2019
Kakao Games' steampunk fantasy MMO Ascent: Infinite Realms might have made its way onto our Most Anticipated Games of 2018 list, but according to the company's CEO Min Kim it "isn't expected to fully launch until 2019." Kim offered this bit of information in an interview with GamesIndustry, in which he discussed the company's future and goals.
In the meantime, Kakao is preparing to launch the Korean Closed Beta Test soon (Q1 of 2018). News on when an English beta test will kick off has been given yet, but the developers do promise to provide us with plenty of information to feed our curiosity. Basically, we just have to be patient and read whatever they're willing to dole out to us until they're ready to begin porting.
