After Departing Riot Games, Valorant's Former Director Joe Ziegler Reveals They've Moved To Bungie
Bungie's working on a number of projects right now, so which one just picked up a new director?
At the beginning of December, Valorant's Director Joe Ziegler announced that after 12 years at Riot (and being credited with basically conceptualizing Valorant) he would be departing the company.
Fast forward a few weeks and Ziegler has announced on Twitter where his new home will be...Bungie.
Update: Happy to announce my new home is at Bungie working on new stuff that hopefully will one day get to be played by you all. Much <3.

What we don't know is exactly what Ziegler will be working on at the Destiny 2 company. His Twitter bio says "Game Director at Bungie" and seeing how Destiny 2 already has game directors, it seems unlikely that Ziegler is working on the flagship IP.
Given his pedigree for PvP games, Destiny 2 fans may certainly want Ziegler on the team given recent woes in that area of Destiny 2, but it's more likely that Ziegler is working on one of Bungie's other projects, like their 3rd person action game or what is likely to be a hero shooter or "Escape from Tarkov" type game.
