After Its 1st Weekend, We're Starting To See Exactly What It Takes To Top Dauntless's Gauntlet Mode
There's exclusive guild rewards on the line, but is your guild good enough to get them?
Last Friday, December 1st, Phoenix Labs dropped their latest Dauntless update and the crowing piece of that update was the new "Gauntlet" mode. This new mode tasked players (usually with their guild, but technically you can play the mode solo if you like) to face off against level after level of Behemoth fights, 5 Behemoth fights per level to be exact.
Why would you want to do that when you could be taking part in the added quests, earning crests to trade in for new weapon trackers ands cells, or any of the other items described in the patch notes?
It's because the Gauntlet mode comes complete with rewards for guilds that can take over the leaderboard and after this first weekend of the mode, we're starting to see exactly what it's going to take you to get to the top and snag those exclusive rewards.
You better be prepared to kill a LOT of Behemoths since as of the moment of this writing you'll need to get to at least level 194 just to make the top 3 and you'll need to hit 331 to take the top spot (330 if you can clear the level in a faster time than the current leader).
That's a lot of dodging, ducking, dipping, diving, and dodging.
Is your guild up to the challenge?
