Aeternum Becomes A Winter Wonderland With The Return Of New World’s Winter Convergence Festival
Winter quests, holiday recipes, and more await.
It’s time for some holiday fun in New World Aeternum. On December 10, the Winter Convergence Festival returns to turn Aeternum into a winter wonderland and offer players activities and rewards. To kick things off, players of the MMORPG will want to pick up quests from the Winter Wanderer. But that’s not all they’ll be doing. The event also introduces holiday-themed recipes and offers special tokens that can be exchanged for a variety of items, including cosmetics and emotes.
Players will also want to keep an eye out for Gift Piles in settlements where they can collect seasonal rewards. Gift Sacks and Lost Presents can also be found in the wild. Gift Piles reward four presents to a player. Gift Sacks reward three. Lost Presents, however, are turn-in items that can be exchanged for Winter Tokens.
Of course, there are monsters to defeat as well. During the event, players can take on the Winter Warrior. Defeat this boss and earn 15 Dark Matter – up to three times a day.
As for rewards, there’s a rather sizable list of items available in the Event Shop. The full list can be found in the announcement on the New World site.
