Aelion Day Returns To Skyforge And There's New Rewards To Be Had...Unless You Play On Switch, Of Course

It's been a bit "touch-and-go" with Skyforge for over a year. Honestly, I check the Skyforge news page daily as I fully expect every time I visit to see a shutdown notice. That may be a negative outlook, but I think it's a reasonable one considering that prior to March's Demon Wars Season kickoff, the MMORPG from MY.GAMES hadn't seen any real meaningful update since mid to late 2023...and even those updates were on the smaller side (i.e. new seasons).

A lack of any real communication on the game's future at that time certainly didn't help things.

That said, apparently things are still kicking over in the world of gods as today starts the Aelion Day 2024 celebration. That's the MMO's anniversary for the unfamiliar, although it seems to happen during slightly different windows year-to-year.

The task? The same as it usually is: save mortals, hopefully gain a prophecy, carry up to 3 prophecies at a time, try to solve them, get currency, and finally spend currency on prizes. Rewards from previous years are available, and new ones have been added...but if you play on the Nintendo Switch, those new rewards won't be available for you. This isn't new, though, this has been the case for Switch users in past Aelion Day events.
