RUMOR: Insider Believes Rumbleverse Will Reportedly Shut Down At The End Of February
Take a hefty grain of salt with this one.
Months after officially releasing on August 11th on PC and consoles, an insider believes Rumbleverse will shut down at the end of February. However, players have not received word on a possible shutdown from developer Iron Galaxy Studios or publisher Epic Games.
According to Insider Gaming reporter Tom Henderson, a pretty reliable source on most leaks, the shutdown announcement could "probably" happen once "store delistings start today" on Epic Games Store. Outside of Henderson's speculation, nothing confirms if Rumbleverse will shut down, but the lack of buzz around the game could lead to its demise.

Rumbleverse started with an explosive following of players, but most of its population seems to have lost interest or fizzled out. It has a melee-oriented twist as far as battle royale games go, but it did release within a saturated market.
Many Rumbleverse players underneath Henderson's tweet weren't surprised by his speculations, while others talked about how great the game feels to play. One Twitter user mentioned how Iron Galaxy has a roadmap planned and is prepping for Season 3, so they advised taking the rumor with a grain of salt. As of this writing, Rumbleverse is still listed on the Epic Games Store.
