All Aboard For World of Warships' Aircraft Carriers
Dubbed "runways at sea," the modern aircraft carrier is a mobile fortress, capable of carrying devastating armaments and serving as a base of operations for scores of fighter planes. Today, Wargaming introduces the aircraft carrier as the fourth class of ship in World of Warships with a video showing off the floating fortresses' combat capabilities.
With the second beta test for the game this coming weekend, Wings Over The Water, taking place from the 23rd to the 25th, players can get behind the wheel of an aircraft carrier for the first time -- assuming they have wheels, that is. Can anyone check this? In any case, all four classes -- aircraft carriers, battleships, cruisers, and destroyers -- will be in play, along with new Japanese and American ships and new crew options.
You can sign up for this weekend's beta here. Full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes!
