A Sneak Peak At Hearthstone’s 24.6 Patch, Including Hallow's End
Tune in on November 1 for Hearthstone's Full Twitch Announcement Stream.
On November 1 starting at 10 AM PST, Hearthstone will be hosting an Announcement Stream on their Twitch. Players who watch for 15 minutes and have their Drops enabled will be able to earn a free Murder at Castle Nathria pack. The 24.6 Patch is bringing a bunch with it, but one exciting event is Hearthstone’s Hallow’s End which will bring back a lot of fan favorites.
Patch 24.6 is also bringing a fun new way to get Battlegrounds cosmetic items: Battle Bash. Players who purchase the Battle Bash will be able to earn one “Hammer” with each Top 4 finish during the Battle Bash period. Each Hammer is then used to "Bash" for a random prize from that Battle Bash collection. The first Battle Bash is the Hallow's End collection which will feature 10 items, including two Legendary items (a Board and a Strike). Players can purchase the Battle Bash for 1,000 runes, but no matter what, all players get one random Bash for free. A little spooky treat for all Hearthstone players.
Then, in Patch 24.6 Hearthstone will be updating its Tasks system so all Task Chains will be available at all times. Task progress will be determined by the Mercs actively in a player’s party at that time and players will be able to progress up to six Tasks Chains at once.
In addition, Hearthstone will be introducing a new Renown system that will let players exchange excess coins for coins of Mercs they own but haven't yet maxed.
Lastly, starting with Patch 24.6, new and returning players will have an upgraded free deck experience. Instead of being immediately asked to choose a free deck, players will be able to test six loaner decks for one week before deciding which one to permanently add to their collection for free.
Players that would like to read the full patch note preview can head over to the Hearthstone site.
