We're Finally Seeing The Bouncer Class In PSO2: New Genesis Next Week...And A little Content, Too!
That's in addition to a battle pass, a new mission type, and a Halloween event.
There’s a lot going on in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis this month. On October 13, the game’s next update will drop adding the Bouncer class, the new Mission Pass rewards system, and a new quest type: Battledia. The Bouncer is a good class for those who enjoy close to mid-range combat with some mid-air abilities. The weapons of choice for this class are Jet Boots and Soaring Blades. The former can produce variations of the same attacks, while the latter can take on the element of a chosen Technique.
If you’re up for new rewards, then look to the Mission Pass. This new reward system offers players a way to earn cosmetic items and other useful things. It’s more or less the game’s battle pass system and the first season arrives on October 13th with the update. Season 1 runs through November 10th, and players that log in between October 13th and November 2nd will be given an additional reward: an N-Mission Pass Gold.
Players looking for something more challenging to do should take a stab at the new Battledia quest type when it arrives in the new update. To initiate these quests, players will need to collect five Battle Triggers from enemy drops and use them at a Trigger Portal. Players who successfully complete the quests will receive a variety of rewards, including materials for weapon and armor enhancement.
Of course, this is spooky month, so there is a Halloween event on the way. NGS’s event kicks off October 27th and runs through November 24th. During this event, Central City will be transformed with decorations and players can earn seasonal currency by completing limited-time tasks or defeating seasonal enemies. The currency can be used to purchase new stamps, Mag Forms, and more.
