A Final Fantasy XIV Player Completed A Savage Tier...On A Dance Mat
It’s probably appropriate he was playing as a dancer.
Sooner or later it was bound to happen. This isn’t the first time someone’s decided to play Final Fantasy XIV’s dancer with a dance pad, but it might be the first time someone completed a savage raid doing it. Yesterday, streamer Biggmilky shared a clip of himself completing the savage tier of Asphodelos: The First Circle using one of those squishy DDR mats. That’s definitely an accomplishment. Though, in general, it’s an accomplishment to complete savage raids in the first place.
That’s not to say that it’s impossible. For most people, it more or less falls to just being willing to put in a lot of time to get it done. Not everyone wants to put in that time. It’s likely that learning to do the raid on the dance pad took some extra time if Biggmilky doesn’t normally play the game that way.
That said, solutions like dance pads can be an interesting choice for those who might need non-hand-related options for playing video games in general, so knowing it can be done is nice.
