5v5 PvP, A "Key" Feature Of Season 3 In Skull And Bones, Won't Be Making It In Season 3 After All
Yep, another thing in a line of things players aren't going to like.
Back in June, Skull and Bones revealed a new 5v5 PvP mode that was slated to launch in Ubisoft's pirate game via their upcoming third season. The "Into the Dragon's Wake" update planned to add a new faction and pirate lord, new solo and PvE content, and a new legendary flying dragon sea monster battle. That'll all still be included.
The planned PvP mode won't be making it to the launch, though. Season 3 is still scheduled to release on August 22nd but, according to a post on the Skull and Bones X account, the 5v5 PvP team needs more time to "ensure we've addressed the most critical feedback before it's in players' hands."
While the rest of Season 3 is live on the PTS this week and will be until the 19th (testing is invite only), the PvP mode won't be available there, either. The announcement is very vague on exactly what the game's issues are with PvP, but the team does promise to reveal more in the "Letter from the Producer" in a few days.
Season 3 will also let you buy the game via Steam if you've been waiting for the digital platform to offer the title before you take your high seas voyage.
