Miniaturized Shooter Batla Now On Steam
You can sum up giem.pro's Batla in just a few words: "Tiny, violent alien robots in search of sugar."
The Kiev-based developer released the F2P shooter on Steam in May, after three years of release in Eastern Europe where the company claims to have 10 million registered and 150,000 daily active players. Batla offers three classes -- soldier, scout, and tank -- with 10 different skills apiece and 15 maps across four game modes, with a PvE mode planned for addition in September.
As for the name? According to Google Translate, "batla" is the English equivalent of "батла," which means "battles." All right, so geim.pro doesn't score bonus points for originality in naming, but the gameplay speaks for itself.

Seriously though, it looks like Quake, except all of the mods are made out of kiddy toys. The maps feel so out of place and stupid.
