2017 Smite World Championship And Paladins Invitational Dates Announced
The year is half over so of course it's time for Hi-Rez to start preparing for next year's SMITE World Championship event in Atlanta, GA. The company announced the official dates for SWC, which is now part of a larger event called the Hi-Rez Expo (HRX). HRX will take place at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta from Jan. 5 to Jan 8, 2017 and will also include the SMITE Xbox World Championship and the first ever Paladins HRX Invitational Tournament. There will also be a variety of announcements and a chance for attendees to check out some of the games as well as enjoy other Hi-Rez hosted activities.
The SWC will feature the top SMITE PC teams from around the world competing for their portion of a $1-million prize pool. The Xbox teams will be competing for their own portion of a $150,00 prize pool.
Those interested in attending the Hi-Rez Expo can purchase tickets now via Eventbrite. Admission costs $99 and is good for all four days.
